Making a payment

We at Calon Law, want to make things as simple as possible, but we also have security in mind. We also understand that not everyone is comfortable with online payments.

 

We will always request a deposit payment at the start of your case. We will let you know the amount of this payment as soon as we can. This payment must be paid before we can proceed with your case. It will be used towards your final bill. 

We provide a number of ways to complete a payment:

Online

We allow you to monitor the status of your case, and through the same system we allow you to make an outstanding payment online. When a payment is due we will send you an invoice with a secure link that will allow you to make the payment online. Instructions can be sent through our secure client portal. 

By phone

We understand that not everyone is comfortable paying through a secure website. Please feel free to give us a call and we can arrange a payment for you, details are on our Contact Us page.

Video call

With the increased usage of secure video conference calls we are happy to host a video call with you to discuss any payments. This will ensure extra security and we can arrange the payment then and there. To arrange the meeting give us a call. details are on our Contact Us page.

Cash and cheque payments

Our firm is not able to accept cash or cheque payments. You can pay by bank transfer or by debit or credit card.

WE WILL NEVER TELL YOU OF CHANGES TO OUR BANK DETAILS, NOR WILL WE ACCEPT CHANGES TO YOUR BANK DETAILS BY E-MAIL OR OTHER ELECTRONIC MESSAGING (SUCH AS WHATSAPP/SMS). IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CONTACT US ABOUT ANY MESSAGES WHICH LOOK SUSPICIOUS. THESE MEASURES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE FOR OUR MUTUAL PROTECTION. PLEASE BE VIGILANT. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU TRANSFER MONEY INTO AN INCORRECT BANK ACCOUNT.
