So here we are at the end of 2023 and what a year it has been for us at Calon Law! For those that don't know we at Calon Law have been on our own surrogacy journey for many years. We started along this path in 2016 and it's certainly had its ups and downs. A real roller-coaster of a ride! Our fertility nurse Debbie, who has been with us all the way, said it in a nutshell, fertility is either "elation or devastation, there's no middle ground" and she is so right. It's utterly exhausting.
As for 2023 our dream came true with the arrival of our son, Brandon. He's been a ray of sunshine, stress and sleepless nights, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Well, perhaps more sleep would be appreciated.
We started Calon Law as we knew there was a need for a solicitor that could understand the Surrogacy laws when it comes to the Parental Order process and when writing Wills for a Surrogacy journey. Charlene has been a Wills and Probate solicitor for over 20 years but is also an Intended Mother. So when we say we know surrogacy, you can trust that, as we have been through it ourselves.
We want to say a big thank you to all our customers for your support. We know it isn't always easy going through the Wills process, and indeed surrogacy as a whole, but we appreciate your support.
As for 2024 we go into a new phase as parents with Brandon going into nursery soon. He's developed so well and we know he will be just fine. For Calon Law we look forward to taking the business to the next level and continue to support our customers with their needs.
