When to update your Will

Updated: Aug 2, 2022

It's important that your Will reflects the current status of your life. This can include not just your assets (e.g. moving home), but changes to your wishes, marital status, unexpected windfalls, legal guardians or a change in your executors. For example, many do not realise that getting married invalidates an existing Will.

The Law Society released a recent video that makes it clearer as to common reasons for updating your Will.

It's also important to seek professional legal advice and at Calon Law we can ensure you will be looked after. We will treat you with the greatest of care and respect. So why not get in touch and try a small local firm and get the level of service you deserve?
